You burst my zit full of joy & spread it all over!

ken, that was an awesome intro. Very professional cartoon quality, using some awesome transitions, and some damn creative ways of displaying names. I really want to know more about this movie now, and this news that it might not get released to the public makes me quite sad.

well, either way, the intro was amazing. really summed up a lot of the awkwardness of puberty, into one snazzy little intro. as always, your work amazes me :)

The only word you need in french is 'B' :3

WOW, that was some CHOICE animation right there. seriously, wowza. not much of a clock day toon, but really smells of clock influence. I'm sure this was done so you could show off your beautiful animation to any sort of crowd, and not have them baffled over why this strawberry has a clock for a face :P i knows you love the clock crew, just making an observation. This is your third year of submitting something on clock day, but this takes the cake by miles :) Can tell you really worked hard on this, and it shows. Some wonderful FBF work, with a style that just makes me feel happy inside. It's funny watching your work progress, from 2 frames of eminem raping someone, to SBC floating through the clouds, to this brialliant masterpiece. glad to see this got a daily first, albiet the wrong day ;) a fat happy late clock day to you, sir!

Munglai responds:

That was sort of half the reason but mostly I did it this way so that it would be more fun for me to animate than a normal clock movie would be.

I've submitted stuff for longer than three years, the old stuff is just really lame and on my other account.

Clox on Crax

FFS creatus, that was amazing. Even the preloader was quite interesting, original, and awesome. But once i finally got past that load, i had the sexy menu to look at, with pink floydddd, mmm! then i got to the movie, and the sexy didn't stop! quite silly how you bounced down the street pistols a blazin like that :P a lot of recycled stuff in the beginning, but obviously that was intended. Some nice styles and aniamtion, too, but nothing can beat that trip. Lets see, off the top of my head i can remember some cocaine, a joint or two, a bong, some sheets of acid, some peote, and some mushrooms. did i miss anything else? maybe i'm too high to know what i'm doing. But seriously, the ground was awesome, the background was awesome, the slip of the duck.fla was pretty awesome. The noise of the flying scisors really helped set the mood. i'm going to make the assumption you've never done drugs before... nope... never once.

but aw FUCK. i just read your news post... it's a damn shame this submission won nothing :( i know you poured your ass into it (ew, what?) and the results were phenominal. an awesome clock day submission, really made me smile :D

Creatus responds:

Awesome review man, its reviews like these that make creating flash worthwhile. You got all the drugs in there except for the random assortment of pills (Uppers, Downers, Laughers, Screamers, ect.)

Glad you enjoyed it, Happy ClockDay 2007

wØnderful

my oh my, that was wonderful. somewhere, i'm sure apple is smiling at you :) his toon was very epic, and i feel that you've done a good job capturing some of the chi (is that how you spell it? google much, hippo?) from his toon, and putting that positive energy to a good use. Now, my FAVORITE part of this toon, was the lyrics. I mean, seriously, I have heard this song so many times, and do you know how many of those words i decoded? Exactly, neither do i. So i was quite confused when this started out using... gradients, and a real looking clock and whatnot, but then he turned into the correct style, and the ass kicking commenced. some great work binary :) happy later clock day :3

BinaryClock responds:

Always a pleasure BlueHippo.

Happy next Clock Day

SleepEasy like your mom after last night lolololol

Dayum Rupee, that was really one hell of a toon you got there. some nice new styles messed around with and fiddled about, leading to successful results :D Now, i'm sure this movie came to you in a dream, also i'm quite sure you see yourself as a rupee while you dream, right? RIGHT? okay, i knew it... Ya know, i wish Tom would dress up like ash at least once a year, that really was swell. A greatstory line in this flash, the graphics were below the top notch quality of your normal work, but obviously, this is to be expected from experimentation, but overall the toon still was lookin sexeh. A nice variety of sound effects, too :3

Once again, you've submit something beautiful. Congrats, and may teh B be with you... although i'm pretty sure you already ate a part of it, just so you carry it with you wherever you go.

RupeeClock responds:

This time I did opt for animation instead of graphics, I mean that's plainly obvious.
SBC didn't even have seeds whilst doing FBF.

Usually there's a focus on graphics in my work, but if I can learn some better animation the results will be good to learn balance and improve overall skills. :)

And the lord descended this masterpiece upon us

YESSS! A preview of the new CD :D I saw the CD cover while lurking your forums, and that got me quite excited. I'm going to for sure need to pick this bad boy up. So let's see what we got here, oh Jesus. Some good stuff, some flowin' lyrics about the es oh en, for shizzle. See, I wasn't lied to as a kid, my parents tried to teach me about the cool Jesus you were rappin' about in dis here song. The dreaded one who could slam dunk sitting down, not this, bread magician that you're always hearing about. The graphics were alright, typical Marc M graphics, which, are humorous in their design, and support the feel of the cartoon, so there's nothing wrong with that ;) I love seeing your characters, you draw your people very uniquely :P Some great stuff as always, and can't wait to see this bad boy on the frontpage... hope it inspires a lot of people to buy your album! I know it worked for me :3

aww, has it really been a whole year?

indeed it has! and you've come a long way boy :) a nice cartoon, with some lovable clocks. nice to see all sorts of experimentation on this flash, going out of your way to try new things is always fun :) some good references here and there, of course no great flash would be complete without a peggy or two.

a couple of suggestions for ya, however. first one being, the jpg quality. when doing sprites, you should trace bitmap them, so that they are in vector format, either that or bump up your .jpg quality before publishing (options are in the publish box). The second one was about the wind up on WU Clock, the little key symbol should be behind the ball symbol, so it looks like it's... more inside him.

also, as a joking suggestion, how could you have BBQ appear and not have a staticy foreground? just doesn't smell right :P

but ah, it's been a whole year. hopefully this will get you some attention from the clocks, and the official clockification process can begin! long live scarecrow!

MetalDart responds:

lol thanks. The only critique I WONT take is the sprites. I dont want to learn ANYTHING about video game sprites because I dont ever want to consider a Sonic Vs Mario flash. Ever. D:<

lol Also, there was no Ball symbol. The wind up thing was the only movieclip on him.

Thanks BlueHippo!

The legend of one strawberry, and his life impacts

Stalin, that was very amazing. The music nicely set the mood, and i loved your scene transitions, i love trying to come up with creative ways to go from one scene to the next, and you sure showed us how it was done here ;) some stylish graphics, with some nice lighting effects at times :P a classic storyline of SBC, but each version has their own twists. What a damn shame you didn't win any portal awards with this, though :( May the B be with you always, good sir.

Also, check your PMs and accept muffin's coauthor so i can add you to Tom Selleck's Sea Quest 6 :3

StalinClock responds:

thanku babes :3

Simba is not the king, SBC is the king!

SBC, you sir are a god amongst fruit. What an epic film, brought a tear to my eye at the climax, and was left heartbroken at the end of it. Very moving, and very compelling. Happy clock day, buddy <3

Show me the way to happiness, mister Firth...

Doki, you've come back to us on newgrounds, oh joy. Another strange work of art from the master. So many health issues at hand that i wasn't even fully aware of until viewing this, and now i feel so much closer to happiness, finally. I liked the little legs on the style of this cartoon, reminded me of the losing president of the universe (i've gone and forgotten his name) with those growing metal legs that helped him glide across the table. How would chairs look, if our legs looked like that, i wondered. Probably just as strange and demented as everything else in this toon :P You've set the mood nicely, and i really liked how you pointed out to us the aspects of the shot that really set it up, such as the lighting in the room makes the whole world feel awful, or the filter on the camera to make the people look more happy :P i was also a big fan of the robotic doctor, i liked him before, and wanted one in my own household, but as soon as he became a pervert and began using foul language, i loved him even more! From here on out i shall try to avoid the number 3 in entirety, as it is nothing but a downer number, here to beat me into the ground, and brag about it's semi-human-like legs.

Missed your stuff on NG, but was watched your TV toons on fat-pie, and that kept my david firth levels at a decent percentage while you weren't submitting to newgrounds, but now that you have returned we can go back to sucking up to you, and kissing your epic ass, sir.

Pretty lame, even for a hippo.
